Episode 8 : Justice for Journee McDaniel
Journee McDaniel was a 7 year old girl, riding in her family's car in December of 2021, when it was hit by a truck driven by Pedro Vargas Garcia. He fled the scene on foot and reported his truck stolen. DNA evidence at the scene proved that he was the driver of the truck, but cops wouldn't attempt to arrest him for months. By then he had fled, allegedly to Mexico.
Journee and her family didn't deserve this.
Join Myra Minkins, Journee's Mimi, and I for a candid conversation about Journee's short life and the family's fight for justice.
We did have some connection issues at the beginning of the episode, but please don't go anywhere, the episode needs to be heard.
